Well...First of all...
1. If you have a new account you have to do the quest in Great Temple of balthazar. 2. After the quest, win 10 in a row at random arenas. 3. After RA you go to TA, win another 10 in a row, and boom, you will have unlocked Heroes Ascent. If you have done all this, do what Ares said. |

I don't think it's quite that many savage.
I'm pretty sure you only have to win 5 consecutive in RA and 5 (consecutive or not) in TA to unlock HA. |

OK, after all those odd replies, lemme explain it to you nice and easy.
1. Go through the game until you get to a port city, such as Kaineng Center, Lion's Arch, or Kamadan, Jewel of Istan. Either that or travel to your Guild Hall. 2. Travel to the Great Temple of Balthazar. On the Isle of the Nameless, talk to the Canthan Ferry Captain. He will bring you to Random Arenas. 3. At Random Arenas, you must win 5 consecutive matches. If this occurs, you unlock Team Arenas. 4. At Team Arenas, you must win 5 times, consecutive or not, it doesn't matter. This will then unlock Heroes' Ascent, to which you can now map travel. Note: Random Arenas are very non-serious and you may find it easy to find a decent team after a *bit* of trying. On the other hand, Team Arenas is more organized and challenging. It requires team strategy. Hope this helped, A Kitten On Fire. ~Polynikes |

If you're interested in HA, I suggest you find a group of friends to go with you, or join a guild that focuses on it. Having to pug when you're completely clueless as to how HA works is disastrous and is what usually turns casual pvers away from HA.

That really helped lol. Got the answers I needed, I haven't been interested in HA til' recently. I have quite a few good characters, and I have unlocked most areas in the Battle Isles. Thanks everyone.
